Usual measurements of profiled cane on dial indicator (in thousandths of an inch, spaced 1/8 of an inch apart) are as follows. Beginning 28mm away from the collar: 18, 20, 23, 25, 28, 31, 33, 35, 37. Contact us for additional details.
Please note, these measurements are an estimate and may vary slightly as each individual piece of cane is unique and has its own individual characteristics specific to that particular piece.
 
All cane is selected and processed in house at The Purple Bassoonist.

  • For reasons of hygiene, returns for cane and reeds will only be accepted if the goods purchased were damaged in shipping. Returned goods damaged in shipping must be returned in their original, unopened and unused condition. Requests for returns due to shipping damage must be made within 7 days of receipt of the goods. Once a shipping confirmation has been sent, cost of shipping is non-refundable.
